To encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards
and advance the cause of matrimonial law to the end that the welfare of the
family and society be preserved.
Fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers are attorneys with extensive family law experience. To be an Academy member, an attorney must pass a comprehensive national examination on all aspects of family law. Judges and attorneys in the field also provide evaluations of each applicant. The national office of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers is in Chicago, Illinois. The Missouri Chapter presents seminars on family law topics for judges and attorneys and sponsors The Roger Krumm Award at the University of Missouri School of Law, providing financial assistance to a student interested in family law. The names and contact information for Missouri Academy members are listed in the Directory of Fellows. |
