Bass, Regina Keelan Regina Keelan Bass has been a lawyer since 1975. She practices in the areas of matrimonial law, including complex dissolutions of marriage, spousal maintenance, child custody and support and prenuptial agreements. Ms. Bass was a founding partner of Thayer, Bernstein, Bass & Monaco, PC., from its inception in 1983 and continued as a partner of Thayer, Bernstein & Bass, PC. until December, 1999. Effective January 1, 2000, Ms. Bass formed the Regina Keelan Bass Family Law Firm, L.C. in Kansas City, Missouri. Ms. Bass received her law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1975 and her undergraduate degree in English from University of California at Santa Barbara in 1972. Ms. Bass is very active in the Missouri Bar, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association and American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She was a Family Law Section Council representative for the Missouri Bar Family Law Section (1993-1994). She served as past Chair of the Family Law Advisory Committee (1991) of the KCMBA, and has been the Missouri delegate to the AAML Board of Governors from 1988-92 and Missouri AAML Chapter President 1987-1988. She has been in the Best Lawyers in America in family law since its 1987 edition. As a matrimonial lawyer, Ms. Bass has had extensive litigation experience. Ms. Bass has been trained to be a matrimonial arbitrator by the AAML Arbitration Training Institute.
