John A. Mr. Turcotte received his Bachelor's Degree from Boston College in 1972 and his J.D. from St. Louis University in 1976. He specializes in, and limits his practice to, the area of family law (including division of property, maintenance/alimony, child custody, child support, paternity, etc.). He practices primarily in St. Louis County and its immediately surrounding counties.
Mr. Turcotte is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). He served as a delegate to its National Board of Directors from 1992 through 1998. He also served on the Nominating Committee of the National Organization in 1994 and 1996. He was President of the Missouri Chapter of the AAML from 1991-1992. Mr. Turcotte is a Member of the Missouri Bar Association, the St. Louis County Bar Association, the Metropolitan Bar Association of the City of St. Louis, the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys, the American Trial Lawyers Association, and the Lawyers Association of St. Louis. He is a frequent writer and lecturer for CLE programs in the area of family law. He has authored many articles for publication on family law issues and is a co-author of "Missouri Domestic Relations Forms/Practice" published by Aspen Publishers, Inc. Received his B.S., LL.B. and J.D. from St. Louis University and has been licensed in the State of Missouri for more than 30 years.
